Mohammed-Spigner, PhD,
Co-Founder and CEO
Deborah is a seasoned researcher and strategic planning consultant with over 25 years of experience across academia, government, and the nonprofit sector. She has served as a research scientist for the State of New Jersey, led program management for a top consulting firm, and contributed to numerous boards and initiatives. A Doctor of Public Administration from Rutgers University, she is recognized for her commitment to social impact, leadership, and community service—including two elected terms on her local Board of Education and honors like the YMCA Minority Achievers Award.
Brian E. Porter, MBA,
Co-Founder and President
Brian is a seasoned management consultant with over 35 years of experience across various business sectors. He has a proven track record of success in finance, project management, and business strategy. Brian has extensive experience in financial operations, including shaping the financial landscape of companies, leading acquisitions, and streamlining operations. He is proficient in using advanced financial tools for projections, modeling, and data analysis. Brian has a deep understanding of business strategy and its alignment with core competencies. He has experience teaching capstone business strategy courses and guiding students through the process of designing, implementing, and monitoring strategies. Brian is committed to social responsibility and serves on the Executive Board of Directors of the MEWSA YMCA where he serves as a member of the Finance Committee. Brian is a highly qualified management consultant with a diverse background and a proven track record of success. He is a strategic thinker with a strong financial acumen and a commitment to giving back to the community.

Javed is DMS's Manager, AI Governance and Privacy. He is a Global legal consultant with 12 years of experience, from Trinidad and Tobago working across the USA, United Kingdom, Europe Latin America and Caribbean. His legal and policy expertise is in Artificial Intelligence Governance and technology law. He is certified in AI Policy and Cyber Security Incident Reporting. He has been recognized as a leader for AI Regulatory Sandboxes by the Internet registry for the Latin American and Caribbean (LACNIC) regions and has published with the United Nations on his expertise on AI Governance. As a former attorney at law with the Office of the Attorney General in Trinidad and Tobago, he developed data protection regulations, Cybercrime law and policies for the public and private sectors.

Information Security & AI Governance Analyst
Aamir is DMS' Information Security & AI Governance Analyst, specializing in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) with a focus on the secure, well-governed adoption of AI. He combines hands-on technical implementation with risk management, working across cybersecurity policy development, AI governance, and application security. He maps security and AI controls to leading frameworks, principally the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 2.0 and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework (AI RMF), and translates their requirements, alongside emerging AI regulation such as the EU AI Act and U.S. state AI laws, into auditable, organization-specific policies that reduce risk and support compliance. His recent work centers on building AI-driven GRC platforms that assess an organization's security and AI governance posture against the NIST CSF 2.0 and AI RMF: scoring control maturity, assigning risk tiers, and producing audit-ready policy suites mapped to the framework outcomes they satisfy, along with prioritized remediation guidance. He has also developed security-awareness programs aligned with NIST SP 800-50 Rev. 1 and implemented strict application-layer security controls across these systems. Previously, Aamir built secure AI chatbot solutions and authored comprehensive security policies aligned with GDPR and data-privacy regulations. He is also a contributor to academic research on AI adoption in the nonprofit sector. He holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity Management from Nova Southeastern University, a B.S. in Computer Science from SUNY Plattsburgh, and industry certifications including CompTIA Security+ and Network+.

Michelle is the CEO & Principal Strategist of Ascend Strategic Communications, is an accomplished strategic communications consultant with over 25 years of experience in corporate and consulting roles, with expertise in leadership, change management, and stakeholder engagement communications, for which she’s been recognized across industries, including civic, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and the federal government. As a communications strategist and skilled practitioner, she has partnered with organizations to transform and thrive beyond public health crises (e.g. COVID-19), mergers, acquisitions, new technology implementation, and relocation. She has earned the distinction of three federal awards, and certificates in DEI from the University of South Florida, Quality Service from the Disney Institute, and Entrepreneurship from Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses. Michelle earned her bachelor’s in journalism from Fairleigh Dickinson University and her master’s in strategic communication and leadership from Seton Hall University.
